✨ Concept & Development — Exploring AI in Design ✨

AI is a big topic in our house at the moment. With teens who are told not to use it for school, and a husband exploring its potential in business — it’s a conversation that keeps coming up!
At @decorex_international this year, AI came up again and again in discussions — how studios can use it, and how it’s becoming a tool we can’t really ignore if we want to keep evolving.
I’ll be honest — I started using AI mainly for admin and research, but recently I’ve begun experimenting with it for concept design. Yesterday was my first real attempt — and I have to say, it’s exciting! I can now bring the ideas in my head to life visually: the look, lighting, time of day, window treatments, furniture, and accessories — all crafted into one image.
Of course, it’s still a work in progress as I refine how I want to use it creatively. But for now, it’s allowing me to show what our studio can offer — whether that’s a hotel lobby, a city apartment, a child’s bedroom, or even a styled coffee table.
For me, AI isn’t replacing creativity — it’s enhancing it. It’s another way to communicate vision, personality, and style.
I’d love to know your thoughts — are you using AI in your business or studio yet? How do you feel about it?
