✨ Designing Around a Vanity ✨

When we approach a bathroom design, we always start with a focal point — and the vanity often sets the tone for the entire space. It anchors the layout, influences the material palette, and ties together the flooring, tiles, and lighting. 🖤
In this ensuite, space was limited and shared by two people, so we opted for a single, larger basin rather than two smaller vanities. The goal was to maximise function without compromising flow — and if you do have the space, a double vanity is always worth considering for balance and ease of use.
The concept was to complement the primary bedroom, which combines a modern aesthetic with soft Scandinavian influences. We introduced a wood-style floating cabinet, off-white wall tiles, and a round mirror with a single pendant light — creating a look that feels calm, natural, and contemporary.
Every detail was carefully considered — from sustainable finishes to warm, tactile materials that bring the whole space together. 🌿
For us, it’s never just about how a bathroom looks — it’s about how it feels and functions day to day.
